Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and revisions work for services provided by Mahboob Hasan (also known as Mahbub Hasan or MH Ansari) through this website, mahbub.in. Because these are professional services rather than physical products, refund terms differ by service type — please read the section relevant to the service you’ve engaged.

By making a payment for any service listed on this website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. General Policy

All services are delivered based on the scope agreed upon at the time of booking (as outlined in the applicable pricing tier or a custom quote). Because each project involves real time, effort, and — in the case of legal filings — third-party government fees, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis according to the stage of work completed.

2. Website, SEO & Rankings Package

  • Before work begins: If you cancel before any work has started (design, development, or SEO audit), you are eligible for a full refund minus any payment gateway processing fees.
  • After work has started: If development or SEO work has begun, a partial refund may be issued based on the percentage of work completed, at my discretion, minus any third-party costs already incurred (e.g., hosting, plugins, or paid tools purchased for your project).
  • After delivery: Once a website has been delivered and approved, or an SEO audit/report has been handed over, the service is considered complete and is non-refundable. Revisions within the agreed scope (as stated in your plan) will still be honored.
  • Revisions: Each pricing tier includes a defined number of revision rounds. Requests beyond the agreed scope may be quoted separately rather than treated as a refund/dispute matter.

3. Company Legal Docs & Trademark Filing

This service involves preparing and submitting documentation to government authorities (such as the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, GST department, or Trademark Registry), which may include non-refundable government/statutory fees paid on your behalf.

  • Before filing/submission: If you cancel before any documentation has been prepared or submitted, you are eligible for a refund of my service fee, minus any government fees already paid that cannot be recovered.
  • After documentation preparation begins: A partial refund may be issued for the portion of work not yet completed.
  • After filing/submission: Once documents have been filed with the relevant authority, my service fee is non-refundable, as the work has been completed and the filing is now subject to that authority’s own process and timeline (which I do not control). Any rejection, objection, or delay from the relevant government authority is separate from my service and is not grounds for a refund of completed work, though I will assist with resubmission or corrections where reasonably possible.

4. Product Launch: Sourcing to Selling

Because this is a multi-stage, end-to-end engagement (sourcing guidance, documentation, brand/trademark setup, website build, and marketing), refunds are assessed based on which stages have been delivered:

  • Refunds are available for stages not yet started, calculated proportionally based on the total project scope agreed at the start.
  • Once a specific stage (e.g., sourcing guidance, trademark filing, website build) has been delivered, that portion of the engagement is considered complete and non-refundable, following the same terms as the individual services above.
  • Third-party costs incurred on your behalf during the project (manufacturing samples, ad spend, government fees, etc.) are non-refundable once spent.

5. Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an ongoing project, please notify me in writing (email or WhatsApp) as early as possible. Cancellation terms follow the stage-based structure outlined above for the relevant service. Work already completed up to the point of cancellation will be invoiced/retained according to the applicable refund terms.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or discuss a cancellation, email mahbub@cosmyra.in with:

  • Your name and the service/project in question
  • The date of payment
  • The reason for your request

Refund requests are typically reviewed and responded to within 5–7 business days.

7. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable under any circumstance, as they represent real third-party costs incurred on your behalf:

  • Government or statutory filing fees (MCA, GST, Trademark Registry, etc.) already paid
  • Domain names, hosting, or premium plugins/themes purchased specifically for your project
  • Paid advertising spend (Google Ads, Meta Ads) already delivered to the ad platform

8. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in how services are structured or priced. The “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision.
